Aromatherapy massage was first developed by a French therapist named Micheline Arcier in the early 1960s.  The Aromatherapy massage technique utilises acupressure points, soft tissue manipulation, lymphatic drainage and energy balance.  Your lecturer, Janet Newton, has been a practising Aromatherapist for the past 15 years and during this 2 day module, she will pass on valuable information so that you, as a professional, will be able to work confidently with essential oils in your massage or beauty practice. Treating your clients with Aromatherapy through massage is conducive to relaxing the nervous and muscular system, and with the help of the essential oils, it will relieve the pain caused by stress and strain on the body.
