In this 2 day intensive you will gain a new skill which will expand your clientele base and save your physical energy while still giving your client much needed care, taking them to a deep level of relaxation.  Stress plays a huge factor in the ageing process, so encouraging clients to take an hour or so out of their week or month to experience a nurturing  facial will have an anti-ageing effect.

This is a competency based training module where you will give and receive facials over the 2 days of the course. 

Upon completion of this course you will have an understanding of:

Draping procedures

Consulting for a facial treatment

Facials in a wholistic spa environment

Product knowledge and application of a professional  skincare

How to perform a professional facial which includes skin diagnosis (general), cleansing,
steaming and exfoliating techniques, masking and massage techniques for the face

The benefits of steaming

The power of clays as healing and anti-ageing products

Contra-indications and how to treat hypersensitivity

The art of ritual used within the facial treatment
